Podcast Awards
Marcus' podcast was 'Highly Commended' in the final of the UK Independent Podcast Awards 2025. Green Jumper was named one of the top two sports pods in the UK.
Judges comments included: "This is a super unique podcast - the fact that the host is still uncovering new stories about Brian Clough, and finding people willing to share them, is a real testament to the research and dedication behind the show."
The awards recognise podcasts which are free from corporate ties, including those by solo creators. The latest success comes just a few months after the podcast was named as one of the best football pods in the world in the Sports Podcast Awards.
Marcus launched Green Jumper - a tribute to legendary football manager Brian Clough - in January 2021. It has seen thousands of downloads by listeners in more than 90 countries.
The pod has also held live events which have raised thousands of pounds for the types of good causes that Cloughie supported.
